Up-front costs information you are entitled to
Hourly Rate: Usually we charge at an hourly rate. We will notify you of the current rate at the very outset of your case in the introductory letter we write.
We can also offer fixed fee work or tailor funding according to your needs.
Under the Code of Practice of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association), which we adopt, we must not incur excessive charges (for example because of an overly aggressive approach). See summary of ‘Family Lawyers Code of Practice’ .
Advance costs estimates: As solicitors we have a professional duty to provide advance estimates of costs of a case at the outset of a case with updates thereafter.
